Etobicoke Real Estate Market Update – August 2026
The August 2026 Etobicoke real estate market showed some interesting changes compared with August 2025. Across Centennial Park, Markland Wood, Eringate, Eatonville, Islington City Centre, Etobicoke City Centre, West Deane Park, Princess-Rosethorn, Edenbridge-Humber Valley, Lambton Mills and The Kingsway (W8), there were 99 home sales, compared with 102 sales in August 2025, a decrease of 2.94%.
The average home price increased 9.75%, rising from approximately $1,144,801 in August 2025 to $1,256,380 in August 2026. At the same time, new inventory declined, with 198 new listings compared with 235 the previous August, a decrease of 15.74%.
Properties spent an average of 34 days on the market, unchanged from August 2025.
Looking at major home types, detached homes recorded 45 sales with an average price of $1,962,291, while condo apartments accounted for 58 sales with an average price of $607,000. Condo townhomes averaged $789,667, freehold townhomes averaged $1,157,333, and the single semi-detached sale averaged $833,750.
